Women Support Circle Builds Confidence in Abuja
BETNEELY CHARITY FOUNDATION recently hosted a women support circle in Abuja that brought together volunteers, participants, and community supporters around a practical goal: help women feel more connected, encouraged, and prepared for daily life. The session was small enough to feel personal, but structured enough to be useful.
The gathering focused on the basics that often make the biggest difference. Participants discussed simple planning habits, setting realistic weekly goals, and organizing the support they need from family, peers, and volunteers. The conversation also touched on confidence, because many women do not need a new slogan as much as they need a clearer path to start using the strengths they already have.
The foundation used the session to highlight how peer support and practical mentoring work together. Instead of offering advice in the abstract, the team walked through examples of how to plan a week, keep important notes, and prepare for small household decisions over time. Participants responded with ideas from their own daily experience, which kept the meeting grounded and relevant.
The meeting stayed grounded in everyday experience, which made the advice feel useful rather than abstract.
In the weeks ahead, BETNEELY CHARITY FOUNDATION plans to continue the circle with more focused support around planning, peer learning, and community care. The organization sees this type of women-led support as an important part of community resilience. When women have stronger networks, the benefits often reach children, households, and neighbors too.
